The Marriotts Ridge Madrigal Singers is the premiere vocal ensemble at Marriotts Ridge High School, consisting of thirty students in grades ten through twelve. The Mads perform some of the highest level of music available from Renaissance to contemporary chamber choir repertoire. They have received superior ratings in local and regional adjudications since the school’s opening in 2005, and have won six choral grand championships in Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia. The ensemble has had the pleasure of performing at such prestigious venues as the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Maryland Governor's mansion, and the White House. This dedicated group of singers has toured throughout the state of Maryland and up and down the east coast. This year they will perform with the City Choir of Washington Choir and will return the University of Maryland.
